Lead-Free Pre-Audit

This service provides an overall review of your company's manufacturing processes and business operations to help you determine what steps should be taken before lead-free is implemented.

Areas audited include:

• Business operations:
  • procurement activities
  • BoM structures
  • ECN procedures
• Process and Line
  • storage of components and subassemblies
  • kitting operations
  • assembly line equipment
  • assembly processes and sequence
• Internal and External Services:
  • rework and repair
  • field services

When completed, ITM's consultants will meet with your management and engineering staff to provide a preliminary review of the findings.

Within two (2) weeks, ITM will submit a comprehensive report identifying areas that should be addressed before your company adopts a lead-free process. Items will be characterized for your roadmapping activities or for your action by:

• Level 1
  — Areas requiring completion prior to adoption of Lead-Free
• Level 2
  — Areas requiring process attention

This service will provide your company with the crucial information needed to design a roadmap for the adoption of Lead-Free.
